The Global Marketing Intern will support marketing programs for Shure’s cloud-connected services, software-enabled solutions, service offerings, and customer lifecycle initiatives. The role provides hands-on exposure to how Shure helps customers discover, adopt, use, and gain ongoing value from connected products and services across Corporate, Education, Government, and Professional Audio markets.

This role is ideal for individuals who want to learn how global B2B technology marketing connects customer needs, solutions, and outcomes. The successful candidate will contribute to content creation, campaign support, customer journey projects, and program coordination while working with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Services, and other Global and Regional Marketing functions. With guidance from the team, the intern will have opportunities to bring fresh ideas, improve how initiatives are organized and communicated, and make a visible contribution to growing this transformative area of Shure’s business.

This Internship will be Onsite or Hybrid in Niles, IL.

Responsibilities

  • Content and Communications: Help create and update clear, engaging materials that explain ShureCloud, connected service offerings, software features, and customer benefits. Content may include presentations, web copy, email, social posts, internal updates, customer stories, videos, and enablement materials.
  • Market and Customer Research: Research customer needs, industry trends, competitors, and examples of strong cloud, software, services, and lifecycle marketing. Summarize findings in a simple, useful format for the team.
  • Campaign and Launch Support: Support global campaigns, product or feature launches, adoption initiatives, and customer communications by coordinating materials, reviewing details, and helping teams stay aligned and on schedule.
  • Customer Journey Support: Help map and improve customer touchpoints from awareness and onboarding through adoption, support, renewal, and advocacy. Assist with identifying content gaps and opportunities to make the customer experience clearer and more consistent.
  • Performance Tracking: Collect, organize, and summarize campaign, content, and customer engagement data. Help maintain simple reports or dashboards and highlight useful trends or questions for further investigation.
  • Program Coordination: Support project plans, meeting preparation, notes, action tracking, file organization, and follow-ups for cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams and regions.
  • Fresh Ideas and Continuous Improvement: Bring aemerging-customer perspective to team discussions, suggest practical improvements, and take ownership of defined projects with guidance from the manager and extended teams.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or other higher education qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Interest in technology, customer experience, digital products, cloud services, or B2B marketing; curious and willing to learn.
  • Good online research, data management, and analytical skills; comfortable asking questions when topics are new or complex, and able to compare and summarize key findings from multiple sources.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and an interest in making information accessible and easy to understand.
  • Self-motivated and reliable team player who takes initiative, identifies opportunities, and can independently develop and drive assigned projects forward with appropriate guidance, while managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications. Experience with design, video, social media, data visualization, project management, or analytics tools is helpful but not required.
  • Previous professional experience is a plus but not required; relevant coursework, student organizations, volunteer work, or personal projects are welcome examples of interest and initiative.
