Join Our Dynamic Service Team at Shure's Waltham Abbey Distribution Centre!
We have a 12 month fixed term contract, for a skilled engineer who is passionate about audio technology. Shure offers a fantastic opportunity to become a valuable member of our busy service team, where you’ll be at the forefront of repairing and enhancing our world-class products, including wired microphones, headphones, earphones, and wireless systems.
What You'll Do:
- Expert Analysis & Troubleshooting: Delve into our products at the component level, diagnosing both low- and high-level defects, with automated and basic testing tools.
- Repairs responsible for product repairs and coordination from receipt to delivery, ensuring smooth processing and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Communication: Facilitate occasional customer interactions to discuss repairs and product operations.
- Additional Responsibilities: Support the team with various tasks as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- ERP Experience: 1-2 years working with systems like SAP or Salesforce is preferred.
- Testing Expertise: 2-3 years of experience with test gear, including oscilloscopes and audio analyzers.
- Soldering Skills: Proficiency in soldering, especially with surface mount components.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics; radio and audio techniques favored.
- Communication Skills: Solid verbal and written communication abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Good computer skills, preferably in a Windows environment.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Competence in following procedures and resolving routine issues.
- Collaborative Nature: Capability to build strong and trusted relationships within the team.
