Overview

Join our team as a Senior Production Scheduler!

Reporting to the Planning Associate Manager, you will play a crucial role in production planning to meet demand goals and requirements.

Additionally, you'll be responsible for expediting materials when necessary.

Responsibilities

 

1. Interprets and releases work orders according to production schedules.
2. Establishes the sequence of work to be performed in production areas, based on priority requirements, customer order backlogs, and production schedules.
3. Balances scheduling and maintains records of the workload in each department.
4. Analyzes computer reports to identify material shortages and generates requests and/or dispatches, if applicable.
5. Anticipates promised dates to determine potential failures in meeting them and takes timely corrective action.
6. Prepares various reports related to orders in process and on-time deliveries.
7. Investigates the status and reasons for open orders and/or discrepancies in the production order system and requests corrections as soon as necessary.
8. Expedites materials to facilitate compliance with production schedules.
9. Performs various functions related to the assigned work.
10. Conduct root cause analysis with the Production team to resolve problems encountered in Production
to provide appropriate corrective action and, if applicable, preventive action.

 

Qualifications

SAP (Must have)

Data analysis 

Root cause analysis 

Bachelor degree

85% English

1 to 2 years of experience in planning or expediting material.
