As a Sr. Structures Shop Technician, you will lead the creation of essential furniture and tooling for both new and established production processes, such as drawers, workbenches, transport carts, and safety guards. You'll be actively involved in gathering the necessary information for the design, quoting, and fabrication of these items. • Collect information for the design of structures.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department to obtain material quotes.
• Manufacture transport carts, workbenches, and any structures specified by your immediate supervisor.
• Use cutting and assembly tools.
• Perform 5S activities in the structure workshop.
• Keep your work area clean.
• Comply with the company's safety standards.
• Perform any other activities assigned by your immediate supervisor.
• Basic knowledge of extruded profiles and woodworking.
• Proficiency in handling cutting tools (manual disc saws, miter saws, jigsaws, bench saws, router).
• Familiarity with measurement tools (tape measure, caliper, square, etc.).
• Ability to interpret technical assembly drawings.
• Basic design knowledge (plus).
• Understanding of industrial safety (PPE).
• Skill in performing precise assemblies and verifying correct alignments.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality assembly and avoid errors.
