Overview

Join our team as an NPI Sr Technician, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our NPI Engineer with the coordination, implementation, and monitoring of new products and Select Batches. Your expertise will drive innovation and help bring exciting new products to market.

Responsibilities

  1. Translate the initial version of Work Instructions (Draft) received by the NPI/NPM Engineer for new PN’s of BRT’s/LCM’s (Optional use of Official LPS/MPS Format).
  2. Work in coordination with the Manufacturing Engineer to update the initial Draft based on notes provided after the first run.
  3. Deliver the updated Draft (Official LPS/MPS Format) to the Manufacturing Engineer.
  4. Verify against BOM the materials supplied to Production before starting each run.
  5. Ensure each workstation has the required Equipment and Fixtures.
  6. Participate in training new Operations.
  7. Take photos and videos of new product processes when required.
  8. Analyze Operations/Processes to identify opportunities for improvement and Error Proofing.
  9. Generate requisitions for Select Batches and maintain the Tracking List.
  10. Generate PR’s in the Ariba system and maintain the tracking list.
  11. Request updates to Maximums and Minimums of MRO materials to be used in new products.
  12. Provide support for multiple projects simultaneously when required (based on priorities).
  13. Provide general support to the NPI Engineer with other activities as needed.
  14. Support and participate in the Serialization/SDS processes and new practices implemented in manufacturing processes.
  15. Interpret engineering drawings of components and assembled parts.

Qualifications

• Engineering student or Bachelor's degree related to manufacturing operations and/or more than 3 years of experience in the Engineering field.
• Drawing Interpretation.
• Written and spoken English (minimum 60%).

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Teamwork.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication.
• Goal-oriented work.

• Computing skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge and use of SAP system (Interpretation of BOMs and Routings)
• Knowledge and handling of the Ariba system
